and the slow doesn't even work if the champ is facing you. I mean, if trynd is coming in for a gank, just face him till he uses shout and then run away.
Sounds easier than it is BMB..
Well I think tyrn needs a serious re-work, his late game is a bit too powerful, but then again... he can get zoned easily pre-level 6 preventing him from getting the farm and feed he needs so very much.
I think they need to nerf his end game a bit and buff his early, by buffing his early I do not mean damage but instead survival and defences. Giving him a new mechanic (such as rage) is a step into the right direction.

Quoted:
* The bar maxes out at 100 Rage
* Each normal hit Tryndamere does to any minion or champion grants 5 Rage
* Crits grant 10 rage
* Killing blows on anything grant double the rage (10 for hits, 20 for crits).
* Bloodlust's bonus is now based on the rage you have (for both the bonus stats and the heal).

Bolded part is the main part of the buff imo that will help his laning phase.
Strong buff to solo top Tryndamere imo.
- Makes him less reliant on crit and last hits to build his blood-lust (current iteration), and instead hits, crits, and last hits count towards his new resource pool as rage.
Only thing I'm curious about is if the rage will slowly decline like with Renekton out of battle, or just dissipate like with blood-lust stacks if not used.

Again, this strengthens his SOLO TOP lane.
It may not be the best buff for a duo lane (unless with a support), but honestly it'll shape him up enough to see if he needs anything else.

After reading this I'm somewhat skeptical as to how the things revealed will actually help Tryn's early game.
Thus far Tryn is an OK Jungler but there are better ones. In terms of his laning....It's abysmal, a carry should have an okay early game not an early game SO dependent on success that you can't function late game because you weren't able to last hit anything or died once or twice. These suggested changes really do not give me any hope as to solving Tryn's early game.
His heal is weak, his damage is solid but like any other melee champ you tend to be kited. His gap closer is just that, it can do damage but it's not as helpful as say Xin Zhaou's charge. Mocking Shout's slow is directional and only reduces AD not helpful if you're going for the Squishie AP carry who nukes you into oblivion while they run. His passive change is nice but it could be better.
Tryn is one of my favorite champs but I feel discouraged to play him when I know I have other champs that I'm just as good with and are more reliable. I want to know other's thoughts on thiese glimpses of a revamp. Any possible positive things you folks can see?
there are a number of carries that have weak early games. off the top of my head Tristana is a champion that comes to mind, as well as Anivia. Tryndamere's lane presence while fairly weak is sustainable as long as he can keep his heal going. Again not ideal, but there are many champions that have to wait till level 6 to gain some killing power, Nidalee being a prime example

In 1v1, he's unkillable.
He's such a fundamentally unbalanced character that he really has no place in the game. He's TOO dependent on late game items so he serves no utility to your team unlike other melee carries.
So I have good news for LoL players: There's a champion, he's known by his great fights, he is strong and gets excited during the battle. His name is JAX!!!
That's true. He depends a lot on crit items (which arent that cheap) so he can stack his heal to use when needed. His only good skill is his slow, but the rest makes him useless in teamfights.
