I have a friend who is really good at Akali, Support, Casiopea, Annie, Katarina, Irelia, Rammus, and Lee Sin

I'm reasonably good with Gragas, Heimerdinger, Mordekaiser, Yorick, Jax, Cho'Gath, Janna, Maokai, Rumble, Ryze, and Teemo.

What im wondering, is what roles would be best for each of us to play?

Assuming he is first pick (He is high enough elo that this would always be true.) and that i am last pick.

I'd think that AD carry and support or solo lane and jungler would be good combos.

One of you carries, the other tries to get them as fed as posible.

I was thinking of just buying and learning brand so we could cheese some brand+taric ****.

But idk.

I don't play a good AD carry, and if we were doing solo + jungler, I'd probably play some true terror **** like Mordekaiser, and then have him Rammus jungle, and just poop all over my lane and carry late.

From what I understand in general the higher picks play the solo lanes and the AD carry, and the last two picks generally get forced to jungle and support, so if you're going to be last pick often you might find yourself having to fill those roles anyway.

Taric + Caitilyn

This one's great, essentially a long range 3 second stun if these two lane together.

As long as you have map control, you will do well.

I prefer either taking both solo lanes, or having 1 solo 1 jungler.

I've been told running support / carry is great, but I've never tried it.

Me and a buddy gold gold in 3 days doing AP mid and jungler :D He was 10 w / 20 l before we start and shot up like a rocket ^^

Jungler/Anti-carry + Carry.

Junglers are typically anti-carries: Lee Sin, Nocturne, Udyr
Strong for the mid-game, and being able to help ALL the lanes. Someone who can dive into the enemy team and make the enemy carry CRY-and-DIE.
If not jungling, at least an anti-carry who solos like Singed, Irelia, Jax, etc..

Someone who can play a good carry is essential if the anti-carry can't get the team to snowball hard enough for a fast victory and you need someone who can kill the others while your anti-carry... anti-carries.
Vayne, Ezreal, Caitlyn, Ashe, all the good stuff~

Jungler/Anti-carry can support your tank, and allow your team to initiate when YOU want to. So, you don't have to rely on randoms or your queue-partner.
Carry for the added damage output, because you HAVE to have damage.

Queue'ing as Support + Carry can make the early game a success, but the support can't guarantee a good mid or late-game, a support can't shift or control team fights.

Me and my duo partner did it differently.

I played the role of a body guard and he played the damage dealer.

End game I did a lot of damage as well and it worked out nicely.

Before the nerf i would play Mordekaiser, he would play Annie or Orianna, and would push his lane, come top and gank my lane.

I played DFG+Lich Bane Mordekaiser though.

Combo their carry, it's now a ghost.

Main problem was getting to their carry.

I don't think this is entirely true, supports generally have strong CC.

Skills like Sona's ultimate, Janna's ultimate, or Alistar's Q and W can be game-changing if used at the right moment.

Of course they will rarely have as major an impact as the other roles, but they're not completely useless either.
