With Lucian recently being released, Eyes will now be drawn to who or what will be the next champion

Will it be a he, she or it?

Will it have a connection to another current champion?

I was wondering what sort of champion you all are hoping for though

Red posts have been dropping hints that the next champion (or the one after, or even both) will be storm/wind themed. They'll be "storming the fields of justice" but that might be "blowing things out of proportion". Also, one of them is male: "One of the upcoming champions was originally named Velnath […] But that sounds way too much like Xerath, so his name got changed. I hope you enjoy the champion if/when he comes out".

I guess you people aren't informed yet again. I got pretty good sources (as well as anyone who pays a little attention to reddit) that the next champ will be some kind of ionian Elementalist named Ao Shin.

EDIT: And yes, I do hope he is an AP mage since we hadn't had one yet this year.
