I only give honor to those that leave a good impression on me. So basically, someone that forgive other player if they make a mistake, can carry the whole team on their own, support that can keep you alive and help you escape from your pusuers and opponnent that are fun to talk to.

Thanks to TinyStar for making me this awesome sig
What it means to me?
Well, nothing ofc.
I saw a friend of mine who just recently started playing LoL getting an honor badge by just playing with other friends and repping each other.
Don't get me wrong, he didn't abuse it or anything, he just plays occasionally and gets 1/2 reps a game most of them coming from a friend, it simply seems that those honor points doesn't really decrease in value that much while coming from friends...
Typically Riot fail, nothing new to be seen here.

Any game I play, I'll give a +honor to my opponent and a +honor to my jungle. If I'm playing support, i'll give honor to my ADC + honor to the enemy ADC / Support. It's standard from me, a bit of a habit. If anybody else stands out, i'll also give them honor, but yeah. Always to those guys!
Then honor doesn't mean a lot to you, I mean you should take into consideration how they behave towards you and your team.
@Topic: I honor anyone who outplayed me/ anyone who did something nice to me.

Ribbon mean nothing but i would only give it to someone who really cooperated with the team or makes some impressive play
Gave you a good laugh or helped? rep+ so i can know ;)

Elohell is like Irelia's stun: if your real level is equal or lower than the level you are in, you're STUNNED there forever. If your actual level is higher than the level you are in, you're just SLOWED in your way up.
Heres my

How exactly does one get the yellow leader badge?
I main Leona and I have it. I always try to be polite and make sure my team know whats going on in the lobby and start of the match and I intervene when someone starts raging/flaming. I give out verbal commands via chat during mid/late game e.g "Stick together!" to get my team following me so its always safe to engage and ward. I'm always as polite as I can be while saying as few words as possible to get the team organised, I keep a close eye on the mini map to warn of danger and I always sacrifice myself for the ADC or anyone who needs it in a team fight.
Because I have a leader badge I feel a duty to aid my team however I can through communication and encouragement.
But what combination of honor actually gives you the yellow leader badge? I can't imagine someone from riot games has been watching my matches and thought I deserved it lol.
The only problem I have with the leader badge is that half the time my team listens to me and we win and its really fun, but the other half people look at it negatively and think i'm trying to boss them around because I think I'm better than them or something :/
When I see a teamwork ribbon it usually means me and that person will have some good synergy as they will most likely be willing to listen or at least provide a better objective than I may have decided to. I've kinda learned to ignore the honorable one as I see it so often. Friendly badge is something I've not even see once lol.

Oh, right, what I think a ribbon means.
When I see someone with a ribbon I think, "Hey, this person will be fun to play with!"
But it depends on what ribbon they have. Like if I see honorable opponent ribbon, I sort of think, "Okay..."
But when I see a friendly ribbon I know they'll be real nice ^_^
