Common misconception born out of the complete lack of understanding of game mechanics.
It's pretty damn obvious we're getting more tanky DPSers as in the current meta that's the only kind of champ that covers 2 roles:
Junglers are tanky DPSers
Solo top are tanky DPSers
Tanky casters are kinda hard to place as they can be mid or top.
And once again, creating an original support is harder than coming up with any other role, unless you want to face the utter failure of karma once again.
In the last days we are discussing the fact ashe gets outclassed by other AD carries, but at least those AD carries came way after ashe, Karma is outclassed by champs that were in the game since the beginning.
Creating a new support is HARD, deal with it.
