Just a suggestion;

in general discussion we have a Zed Thread & my own Jarvan Talk blooming. On seeing how well both have had with comments, and reading through interesting conversations with two sides to the story on builds, masteries, tactics, best plays etc. I was wondering what the chances are of making a Sub-forum under the name of something such as; Champion Discussion or Champ Talk/Summoner Talk and list a topic for each and every champion where all discussion can be held with that champion.

I know full well like i did, i created a topic on jarvan and got an instant response, but i play a multitude of champs and would like to sit and talk about other champions aswell, the last thing i want to do is continuously spam the forums with different champions and different subjects when they could be set in one unique place. You could even create some catchy titles for each champions topic., perhaps make it feel like a spotlight;

'Between Two Rocks with Malphite'
'Ahri's 9-tailed tales'
'OK with Rammus'
'Under The Bridge with Trundle' - In reference to Troll under the bridge.

just a few i could think of.

There is a "talk" page connected to every champion:
http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/champion/aatrox-114/discussion
http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/champion/ahri-89/discussion
http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/champion/akali-50/discussion
so I don't see them making a forum for an idea that sort of already exists.

However, I'm not adverse to making the Discussion pages look more like forum posts, and having these pages linked to a subforum some how. It would be cool.

Featuring these pages each week would be interesting.

Since there's no "subforums" here, no functionality for it, it doesn't seem very feasible at the moment. :( I know this is something people are interested in, but even so having 120+ subforums seems a little daunting. :P

Sorry; i did not mean a subforum as in one within another;

Subforum like we already have; general discussion etc. perhaps i should have said forum.

Inside that forum you make 120+ topics.
Each topic is use for all related discussion on a champion.

Hope thats clearer

@jhoijhoi those discussion tabs for champions is what I'm getting at however i never even knew that existed till you linked me :/

I got what you meant but, we don't have that capability at the moment, and I was wondering if 120+ subforums would be too many in general. :P I do think it's a nice idea and will keep it in mind though. I know people want to talk about their favorite champions / champions they're trying to learn.

Oh ok then :)

How come the forum software does not agree with subforums? Just to be nosey.

I've not dealt with forums for a few years now so I'm not even sure what the leading board software is. Is IPB and VB still leading?

I'm not positive but I think they wrote their own code for their forums. I couldn't answer your question for sure though. :P
