This could be due to multiple reasons:
1) Your cache hasn't updated.
2) You've changed your "Core Build" or haven't allocated it to the end game Purchase Order.
3) The stats box has always been broken, ever since the dawn of time, so I wouldn't worry about it. If you want correct stats for an end game build, head over to LoLWiki or any other guide site to get those stats for stat comparison :)

From what I know of the builder, only item sets that are included in the "core" item block (the box below the name needs to be chcked) are counted towards the stats. I don't know exactly how it works, but you may have multiple builds checked as core, and they could be conflicting?
Masteries and stats related to skills (like Nasus' passive which grants lifesteal) are not included in the stat sheet.
Someone with more experience will see this, and they'll be able to help you more. It's a new builder, and we're still working on it :)

^Joes, no, it's not a new issue, it's an old old old one. Masteries and runes and items have always appeared incorrectly in the stats box. You also can't check multiple "core items", only one. Though I'm not sure why the stats wouldn't be calculating at all, unless it's a "publish to see changes" thing, that often occurs.
Thanx for the response guys though it's still funny. The system was working perfectly up till now. My Garen, Nunu and Rammus builds all calculated perfectly. Well except for Rammus' passive armor-damage boost but that's to be expected. Its only today that I did one for Xin Zhao that the problem started and it has now spread to my other builds. Guess it's pen, paper and pocket calculator for me until it's fixed... T_T

I am aware that masteries and things have not been working correctly "forever." But the "new builder" is new, and there could be an issue this chap discovered that we need to work out.
Maybe he was able to click multiple core boxes? Maybe he's bugging out some other way? Either way, it's a new problem we've discovered with the new builder. Like I said, it has some issues, being new and all :p

No, it does not appear to be related to core items at all. The items in my Nasus guide are also not factoring in at all, because I chose to edit them today and add
Mercurial Scimitar.

yeah all the items seem to be adding 0 to the stat totals at the top. if you hover over each stat it used to say for example
Health
Base at 18 1000
Rune Bonus 0
Item Bonus 200
Total 1200
now for the item part its 0 for all stats and all guides. something broke i guess...
