Woot. So if you are too lazy to constantly update the guides, you can archive it until you are ready to adjust it. Me likey. Although i found that if the archived build was in the top 3 of the month, it is still accessible, haha.
We will often hide archived builds from the listings but there are some places where it doesn't make sense to, like the legendary builds box. If you spot an archived build somewhere you think it shouldn't be, let us know and we'll take a look :)
I also noticed that the archived builds are inaccessible even on your own profile page. Is this a glitch? or is that supposed to happen? because i was not entirely aware that you would have to go scout around on the guide section for your own build.
Lol i love all the ideas that i hear from admins! i cant wait to see them put into action. Im especially excited for the Table of Contents addon. That will completely change the style of builds.
I don't believe regular users can delete guides, published or otherwise. If you need a draft deleted I can do it for you, just tell me what you want deleted.
Thanks to Fatelblade for the sig!

The archive button is the closest thing you have to deleting your build after it has been published, though it does not actually delete your build. After you publish a build and then bring up the view page (NOT the edit page) you will see an "Archive" button at the top.
This will hide it from almost every spot on the site. The only way for a user to view your build from that point on is to know the direct URL, or to set the "Quality" filter on the browse page to "All" and dig for it. It will also disable commenting and voting so you will not get negative votes if it becomes out of date and you won't have to worry about what people are saying on it. Additionally, it adds a big box at the top that says the build has been archived, the author no longer supports it so it may be out of date and, if you have other non-archived builds, it will list your most recent there to point users where you want them.
The content, score and comments at the point that you archive a build will be kept for historical purposes. If you accidentally click the archive button don't worry, you can unarchive the build at any time and it will reappear on the site.
