Yeah that's what happens to me on Firefox too, whenever I try to cut, paste or remove any paragraphs larger than 1-2. My browser in general has been slower than what I'm used to recently though so in my case I'm not 100% sure how much of it is on MOBAFire's end.
Out of curiosity, I decided to try disabling my adblock plus (the ads were starting to make the site run very slow for me) while editing my guide to see what would happen. It was noticeably slower with that disabled, but not as bad as the other people seem to be dealing with. Might be a thing worth looking into.
Hey guys! We just pushed an update that will allow you to disable mentions by adding "?nomentions" or "&nomentions" to the URL on any page on the site (so for instance on the edit guide page, it would be http://www.mobafire.com/edit/guide?guide_id=*TheGuideID*&nomentions). You can try disabling mentions to see if that helps with these lag issues at all, and if it does (or doesn't) please let us know.
That made a huge difference. I tried pasting 10 paragraphs at a time and it did it immediately and cleanly. Then I tried copying and pasting my entire guide 400 paragraphs guide into my guide that already contained another 400 of those paragraphs, and again it was super clean.
Additionally the lag I've always had on Chrome when editing guides seems to be gone.
0 issues with guide editing on my end after adding ?nomentions to the url.
Sadly this happens right as I'm adding the finishing touches anyway... >:^(

I just tried this and the awards of every user are completly collapsed(even if without having &nomentions in the url).
Looks like the Quote button is broken too. Might have been something that was rolled out along with &nomentions, not necessarily directly related.
Looking into it.

Thanks to Hoppermh for the sig!
I'm glad that seems to have fixed it for most of you! As a heads up, if you have &nomentions on a page but still want to actually mention somebody, there's a bbcode tag that will handle it regardless of the status of nomentions in the URL. It's as simple as
and that will send a mention as normal. We'll be looking into the rest of these bugs, thanks for the reports.

Just using Ctrl-X to cut a big chunk of text can give me 'A script stopped responding' error in the browser, or twice Firefox became unresponsive completely and I had to force-close it.
