Besides the obvious two time Q use before, i seem to not make it(torando) when it is possible. Not sure why it doesnt happen always when i hit Q, any suggestions what i am doing wrong?

I tried stopping - then hit Q - doesnt always work.
I tried moving toward enemy - doesnt help
I tried making Yasuo attack a unit ahead of me (so he has to move there) - doesnt help

As i understand, tornado should always happen when I hit Q when it is possible to make a tornado (so after two consequitive times Q used and on Q icon you see "counting down" by a yellow square around Q icon)

You can only throw out a Tornado after hitting Q twice, then casting Q a third time. You have a limited window to cast the tornado after hitting your second Q. You can charge up your Q by hitting enemy minions, monsters or champions.

If you're trying to make Yasuo do his little spin move (not the same as the tornado), you need to press Q while you're dashing to an enemy with E. If you have a tornado ready, it'll knock everybody up in a circle around you instead of throwing out a tornado. Otherwise it'll just deal damage people in a circle.
Thanks to Jovy for the sig!

You did hit an enemy with each of your two Q casts, right? Because if you just press Q and miss you won't get a tornado and it resets to 0.

The only thing you have to do is press Q again when the tornado is ready.

So if you:
Q an enemy
Q an enemy
then Q anywhere

You should get a tornado.
Thanks to Nyoike for the sig!

Ok, now I know:
the Q is grey for some time (after doing two consequtive Qs, and it means not being able to cast), the being grey thing gets shorter the higher level you get and the higher attack speed
(that's why the better equiped and higher in level the champion gets the almost no noticable the delay becomes)
