Cho is great for jungeling, great ae, great ganking ability, build in smite...
I'm not debating the matter of whenever he is good or not but that whenever he should be considered to be one of the best junglers. Of course such matters are subjective but when it comes to this particular case I can't honestly say that I would consider Cho'Gath to be a contender of one of the best junglers in the game currently. Oh, by the way Nunu has an almost on-demand built in smite which is more potent then Cho'Gath feast and good ganking ability thanks to his extra movement speed and almost permanent slow with Ice Blast. I don't think there's any need to justify Nunu utility both against the enemy (Ultimate & AoE) and for his allies (Attack speed & movement speed).

However, he was only outstanding in his ability to counter jungle and sustain himself, both of which are pointless now. He's average now.

Agreed, the credibility of a junglers countering ability and sustain is far less important now thus the decline in Cho'Gath in the jungle.

If I helped +Rep, if I didn't then +Rep the person who did.
Amumu is real strong right now. AOE junglers in general are. Udyr is probably the strongest pick for a first time jungler, though. A path I've seen a lot recently is wraiths > blue > wolves > wraiths > red > dubs.
As a jungler, your main jobs early are to clear your jungle, gank, keep track of their jungler, and control buffs. The ones I see lacking the most are the latter two. If you wanna take your jungle to the next level, counter-jungle and get used to opposing jungle patterns. If you see their jungler on the other side of the map without blue, take his. Try to maintain a general idea of where their jungler is at all times, take his stuff, and let your team know so they don't die to a gank.
Oh yeah. And if they have a ward and you can't get around it... don't even bother ganking. Just farm your jungle. You can't do **** unless they're a baddie.

Kind of misleading, no?
Personally I think he is top 5, and he's certainly MY best jungler.
I may be biased, but I've never had a better jungle than Cho.
So no I don't think it's misleading.
While I don't think he is -the best- he is certainly the best jungler that nobody is going to tell a player about.

No, not at all.
Not even remotely close to why he's a good jungler.
I don't ever even set a foot in the enemy jungle.

Well now I don't care about what you have to say about Cho anymore since it's suddenly apparent you don't understand why he's good at it :P

Have you even ****ing played this patch?
Kill the big creep, don't kill the small ****.
It's op as ****.
Like pre nerfs Nunu.
Nunu is another astoundingly good jungler btw.
I saw a WW get raped so hard a while back that he was level 5 at 15 minutes.
Tri lane for life.
The only real issue with nunu is that he's really hard to play. Not in the sense that his abilities are hard, but in the sense that he falls off so bad late game. You need to have a very good understanding of the jungle so you can screw up their jungler. I doubt there are any good nunus in this patch atm. He just takes a lot of knowledge.
