Its not extremly hard to last hit with her, like other champs it will just take time for you to get used to last hitting.
Creep kills help, everyone in general, the more farm you get the faster you can get your tri-force or gp/5 item.
As for your second question, I play her, but I really don't feel really slow at any point in the game.

So my question is:
1) Is irelia really depended on creep kills like ashe and/or caitlyn?
2) Is irelia more of a mid to late game character?
I really enjoy character that specialize in ganking,pushing, and gap closing abilitys. I would like to know of some other good champs that fits that role also.
