Come hang out when I'm streaming! http://www.twitch.tv/dufftime
I suggest you only buy champions after you've tried them out on their free weeks. I've only ever bought two champions without trying them, and those were ones I had watched extensively on videos/streams. :P
Unless they are 450 IP champs, in which case buy away.

Hereo's you should learn first IMO are.
Ryze
Ashe
Miss Fortune
Annie
Taric
Why these ? No skill shots required really, and they are easy to play in general.

In games, it gets way, way worse.
Ryze is one of the best champs to learn and super, super easy. He's also only 450 IP.
Quick tip, don't buy runes until you get level 20 and try to learn every role at least a little. It helps your understanding of the game as a whole.

I played my first 2 PvP games as Sivir. went 1/3/x for 1st game, then went 7/0/8 for second game. Really starting to love Sivir, any heroes are similar to Sivir?

My very first character was
Tristana, my recommendation is to learn 2-4 characters very well, learn them, play them, master them, love them.... and then play them some more. That's when I started getting better and started expanding to other characters, once you've played about 10-15, I'd say the dynamics of new characters become very easy to learn.
Plus it helps to have played characters when facing them, simply because you know there strengths, weaknesses, if the player has absolutely no idea what they are doing...

I'm now saving my points to buy a heroe. Thing is which one should i buy really bothers me. I like ranged characters (played mostly Sivir and did alright, getting better).
Heres some characters that interest me, but no matter how many guides I read about em, it doesnt give me a general idea of how to play them.
-Twitch, Caitlyn, Vayne interest me a lot. Thing is I can't gank if my life depended on it, I tend to forgot about spell protective abilities or cloaking. I can flank quite well, thing is, bots are quite dumb.
-Xin Zhao = Character i'm saving up for since everyone says hes easy to play and all his abilities flow well together.
I'm open to everyones opinions, also if you think these heroes are horrendous choices for a newbie, please recommend me other ones. Thanks.
