NEVER max w you need the burst

This is because you can always proc 2 q's with autoattacks and e autoattack to knockup / zone enemies when you want to, and when you actually engage on enemies you can burst them easily.

Xin Zhao no matter where or how you're playing him. This is coming from a Xin Zhao main that also knows that everysingle pro that plays Xin does that too. Audacious Charge maxed first will give you better trading damage, better AoE damage to be able to clear minions or just to kill minions while you're fighting the enemy, it gives high magic damage which makes you harder to counter (the enemy can't just stack armor and pwn you), it will also give you a better slow so you can land more autoattacks on your enemy/you can run away from him more easily AND it gives reduced cooldown on your GAP CLOSER ability which also makes you deal more damage AND makes it easier for you to chase (which will in return ALSO give you more damage in the long run lol).
You COULD MAYBE max Three Talon Strike first (R>Q>E>W) in very specific situations but one thing is sure is that you should never ever max Battle Cry first lol. It is such a good one point wonder ability and other abilities just give you so much more when maxed first.
