The basic guide elements that you'd expect from a Vapora guide are all still here, but on top of that is now an extensive Matchups chapter that covers just about every champion you're likely to encounter in the bottom lane. After those matchups, there's also a great breakdown of bot lane matchups in general, with specific examples that'll help you categorize your matchup and play it out intelligently. Definitely give this new chapter a look if you're a fan of Vapora's guides.
Over 30 collective hours of work went into that, glad to finally have it out there. ^_^ On top of the writing I had to do a lot of research and thinking, it was a mix of a lot of things that I'd thought about and understood, other things I'd thought about and didn't understand, and stuff I'd never even thought about. I learned a lot while writing it so I'm sure it's an invaluable read for anyone else too.

This beast of a Lissandra guide won the mid lane category for our recent guide contest, and for good reason! Katasandra's Lissandra guide is the perfect example of a great MOBAFire guide. The author is a champion specialist with a ton of experience on Lissandra and the depth of the guide reflects that personal mastery.
Just like her unique and handcrafted aesthetic, Katasandra's depth and quality of information shows just how much work went into this guide. Anything you'd want to know about Lissandra or mid lane is covered. Players of all calibers can learn something from this guide, from smooth comboing, to pristine macro and every build option available to Liss. Any mid lane players should give this a look because a lot of the information applies to other champions as well!
Thing in the Ice's Gnar guide is deceptively detailed. What seems at first like a solid, if brief guide is actually a very detailed resource that any Gnar player should check out. The secret is in the Matchups section, which is a link to a spreadsheet that covers a ton of Gnar matchups, with individualized advice, difficulty ratings and suggested rune pages for each champion you'll be facing.
If you couldn't tell from the guide title or author's name, Thing in the Ice is a Gnar specialist. It's obvious from the number of matchups and detail that the author really knows what they're talking about. There are also some neat mechanical tricks in the guide itself that'll give you an edge in game as well as demonstrate to your teammates and opponents that you are a true Gnar master! :P
When reviewing guides to feature for this week, I opened Vapora's Kai'Sa guide assuming I'd seen the contents already. Luckily I was in for a pleasant surprise! Vapora went above and beyond his usual guide length and added a TON of new information that's useful for any ADC player.

If you liked any of these guides, be sure to give the authors a vote and comment with your thoughts! See you again next week. :)
