no but my eyesight certainly limited my career choices...not to mention my build in general. the point I was trying to get across is that certain genetics greatly influence career paths...so if we as a species all had genes that gave us 20/20 vision and an athletic build would we still pursue all of the career fields that we have today? i mean I don't know about you but I don't see a lot of 'tom brady' type people in science.

^ meh I am digressing from my original purpose for this thread so I will repost it:

"So my idea behind this is for you to ask questions about science as an occupation in the private sector. You can also ask me about science in the academic sector as I had good relations with my professors and I also had a short stint as a community college instructor. You could also ask me about secondary science education as I was in the field originally and have a number of good friends still in the field. I suppose you could also ask me questions regarding biochemical theory. I would rather you not ask me moral dilemma questions involving science as they can get off topic and heated but if you really need an answer I can try to provide as objective an answer as possible."

My vision is 15/20 and I'm built like a runner, yet I'm studying to become a "code-cruncher" that won't do much other than sit on his *** and stare at a screen one meter away.
Irony?
"Blizzard spoke thus; Thou shalt not BM. And the players replied Nay, I shall Play my hand with Lethal already on the board. And so Blizzard sent unto them this Brawl of Yogg, As a lesson for their sins of Pride and Greed, for he is the Prophet of Madness and RNG. On that day, the tavern descended into an era of chaos and darkness, until the weekend passed and everyone forgot all about it. Amen. Book of SMOrc, Verse 20, Chapter 4." - Feam T

I have an athletic build and I'm going into law, probably for a gaming company (crosses fingers hopes for valve) so I don't think build necessarily dictates what you do, although it does mean you may not be able to do some things. An nonathletic person for example cannot be an athlete. On the flip side an unintelligent person cannot be a chemist.

Thank you Miss Maw, CasterMaster and Arcana3 for the sweet sigs. I'd definitely recommend you to anyone looking for a nice sig.

I found this rather interesting.

Science is ****ing amazing.
We could literally end all kinds of organ trade that laws and police forces are unable to just through science.
