1. The cube is blue and metallic, mirrored even. It's large enough to climb on, would appear to be made of tinted glass mirrors, resting on shifting sand, and it's not quite in the center of the desert. Like someone was trying to annoy a person who likes that sort of thing by just barely putting it shy of the geographical center. |
Frist of all the color that you made your cube is blue. Blue is the color of the heavens, its most common meanings represent truth, intellect, spirituality, and loyalty, there are two other virtues linked to the color blue but we will get to them latter. It is also one of the reasons that the Virgin Mary is depicted wearing the color blue; however its metallic surface is âMirroredâ Mirrors throughout history, religions, and philosophy have had many different implications as to how individuals see themselves. The mirror is used by people to see things for how they appear not how things really are, early teachings state that people believed that the mirror reflects an actual image of oneâs soul. And sometimes that image is negated/changed from its original, left becomes right, and right becomes left; but I do not believe that it negating all the good qualities that the color Blue represents in you, but instead it may be warping the way they are demonstrated. It is also interesting to point out that a cube has 6 sides, and a 6 sided mirror has many implications of its own but that will be important later on. Because the Mirrored cube is setting on âshifting sandâ it may imply that it is not where it should be or that it is away from home. The mirrors are intact and not broken, which would symbolize darkness and doom. So thatâs good, but cube does not know how to make a new home on its own and has been pushed aside by shifting sands, which by your statement âLike someone was trying to annoy a person who likes that sort of thing by just barely putting it shy of the geographical centerâ Could refer to people in your new surroundings, new friends, new teachers, new jobs. Etc. doing things differently then the way you did them growing up, and not having the power to change them, but instead just trying to deal with it made being pushed aside all the more easier. |
The ladder is made of wood, but it's not an ordinary wooden ladder. It's dark and burnished to a bright shine. The ladder is leaning on the cube, perhaps to let one climb to the top of the cube more easily. |
According to Taoism âWoodâ sometimes represents Benevolence, and you are ready to bestow Benevolence to all who come your way. You did mention though that it is not âan ordinary wooden ladder. It's dark and burnished to a bright shine.â You have so many things ready to say, but are far too shy to share them, so you have spent far more time practicing conversations in your head, practicing social skills, taking great pride in your hobbies, and your bard like signing skills. You also take great time in your physical appearance, and you are very ambitious about achieving your goals so that you can be ready when someone asks you to talk and have a conversation with them. You are ready so that when someone is enticed to climb that âburnished to a bright shine ladder â you are ready for them, you have even placed the ladder against the cube so that people can climb! You are not a shut in, however you are afraid of letting others down so you take tedious amounts of time replaying past conversations in your head so you can be ready for the next one. So that that Ladder can be buffed and shined saying âI know what Iâm talking aboutâ or âI can do thisâ The 5th Virtue that blue represents is at the top of that Ladder and it is âContemplationâ |
3. There's a dapple grey horse running around the cube. Circle after circle, going nowhere. |
As the Horse is running around the cube he is constantly peering into your soul seeking for, truth, intellect, spirituality, and loyalty, they are all inside but because the Cube is mirrored he only seeâs a warped reality of these virtues; and because the cube is on the ground and not hovering at a height in which he can see the bottom. It forbids him from seeing himself at a vulnerable angle which would be looking up towards something other than himself and thus lowering his guard. Being able to look up would in fact cause him to bear his own soul before the cube. Something that is important to the Horse, he needs to bear his vulnerabilities before he can have an eternal relationship if he cannot see the cubes vulnerabilities he cannot become vulnerable himself. So he has just settled to run in an infinite limbo of madness seeking something that he knows is there but finds himself consistently pushed away by a warped picture of truth, intellect, spirituality, and loyalty, without ever experiencing the 6th virtue |
4. A single white rose blooms nowhere near the cube, next to an oasis. |
The Rose has always been a symbol of love, the âRed Roseâ defining male passion and love which happens to be why they are often given by men to the girl of their dreams so that they may see their passions. But you chose a âWhite Roseâ which is the symbol of purity and innocence, you wish to pass these virtues down to your child one day, you want her to stand by your side learning everything see can before she ventures off into the world one day. However she may have left before you would have liked. |
5. Oddly enough, it's a thunderstorm. Approaching the cube. The thunder scares the horse out of its laps around the cube, causing it to knock over the ladder and slam into the cube. Instead of shattering, the cube seems to warp slightly and suddenly the whole scene is reset. The rose is unaffected entirely. |
You fear sharing your world with someone who isnât family. You fear that when troubles happen you will be left alone with no one but family by your side, even though the cubed was knocked backed and began to warp back into place. You were completely willing to let all of your virtues pour out! All of your truth, intellect, spirituality, and loyalty came out to protect your rose that is always by your side even though you may be far apart! You never turn your back on family. But letting someone come in and calling them family is your weakness and that brings me to the 6th virtue âEternityâ the bottom side of the cube. The bonds of family are eternal, but you treasure it so much that you have a hard time letting someone partake in your eternal family since they are the only things in this world that will last forever. And the thought of being away from family breaks your heart. |
Most of this is mostly mumbo jumbo. If this is offensive I apologize in advance, I and I may have decided to read way too much into this, but this is my analysis I hope you enjoy it
