Everyone is pissed at EA cause of origin and their customer service sucks so much ***. But this is only the informed (read: smart) minority. A majority of people are still going to buy their games because it's the next coolest thing available on the Xbox.

:O My jaw hit the damn floor. If I hadn't already sworn to never buy any EA games, this would convince me to. Holy ****.
Nope. Do not want.
Nope. Do not want.
this is semi related to the current topic, but ea has released a list of games that it will be shutting down online servers for
Boom Blox Bash Party for Wii
Burnout Revenge for Xbox 360
EA Create for PC, PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360
EA Sports Active 2.0 for PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360
EA Sports Active NFL Training Camp for Wii
FIFA 10 for PlayStation Portable and Wii
The Godfather II for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
EA Sports MMA for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
Need for Speed: ProStreet for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
The Saboteur (loss of The Midnight Club access) for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
Spare Parts for PlayStation 3 Xbox 360
funny thing is, all of those games are pier to pier gaming, the saboteur is losing its dlc, at least one of those games has an online pass, and a few of those games are even from last year.
the biggest problem was, ea claimed that the 'whole reason for the online pass is to keep the servers running, as people who buy used copies don't help keep them running' yet they shut down the server for it (once again its pier to pier servers) anyway.

Wow, really?
Really?
If I hadn't already sworn never to buy any more EA games, this would convince me to. :P
>when you are 6 hours into playing battlefield, and you run out of ammo in your clip, and we ask you for a dollar to reload, you really aren't that price sensitive at that time.
Really dude? Suck my **** you greedy bastard.

Related: It's been 11 days since Bioware gave any update on the game breaking glitch that stops me playing ME3.
Instead, they are talking about announcing DLC for the ****ty ending and how many other ways they're going to milk every last penny out of people. The worst part is that people are actually begging them for DLC on their Twitter.

>we're not gouging, but we're charging.
>a substantially better future for the industry
