Hey, you know what?
If you really wanna go and try to make yourself look more beautiful then start running. Because losing some body fat and building some muscle almost definitely makes you more attractive.
You'll also feel better, if you care about that at all.
Don't forget to eat healthy. A little fat food here and there doesn't matter much as long as you get all the important nutrients.
That's way better idea than to spend time and effort on putting metal in your lip.
Guessing it's this one. I do agree that losing weight is the best way to feel good about yourself. I'm happy about my weight, but as for running I don't do much of that anymore. I love zumba and yoga but if it comes to going to the gym just to get on the treadmill and work out, I don't cause I hate going by myself and I find it lonely(for some odd reason), unless I have my workout buddy with me which is fun. As for eating healthy, I do that already or at least try to. Except for two weeks ago when I ate my feelings away at Golden Coral lol. Anyways, body mods isn't really to make myself more 'beautiful', for me personally it's how I deal with things. Thanks for the alternative plan though. :3

Yeah, all me
Indeed, you have always been a saint.
either way, I've planned on going for a tatoo drawn by myself. I just never found a price i'd be willing to pay for having it done. I'm not really afraid of not being hired because the employer doen't like tattoos. It should be a person's business if you have a tattoo or a piercing. It doesn't hurt anyone else, it isn't a crime. Saying you'd never do one because you don't want to risk not being hired is maybe your will of self sacrifice but then again, i'd probably never feel comfortable in my workplace if my superiors had such strong reaction over what is their employee's (or anyone else that is not them) business.
Just to end up with "it's nice to see good tattoos once in a while". =3

Wait, you 'deal with things' by inserting metal into your face? O.o

Fake.
Distinct lack of cleavage.
EDIT: girl, yo eyes are b-e-a-utiful
As for body art.
It depends.
Do you want employment where you constantly get into contact with customers, is it therefor a social job. Then tats and piercings aren't going to help you. At all.
If the job you're looking for isn't exactly social, but it does involve loads of contact with educated people. Then again, tats and piercings aren't the way to go.
For some reason, tats and piercings are linked to a lack of education.
While this might not be true; it doesn't really matter. It's the perception that exists and it's that perception that colors the initial impression.
Take any given company.
Go from top to bottom and notice the progression of zero tats/piercings at the top, to loads of piercings/tats at the bottom.
This is how people, managers (the people doing the hiring) see the world. You come walking in with visible tats/piercings and you're automatically placed in the bottom drawer.
Such is life.
