Eden of the East and Ergo Proxy are some of my favorites, and I guess you will like them, Slappiz.
Alright, then I will start with those.
Watched The Girl Who Leapt Through Time yesterday. I didn't dislike the movie but I kinda felt that the characters in the movie were kinda boring. They lacked a strong personality which made them all seem pale compared to other anime characters I've encountered.
Or to rephrase it, they were too normal!
Then you wouldn't like one of my other favs SNAFU.
"I think I have never seen a scene a more normal scene with almost nothing happening and everything changing" could be applied to most of it.
Tho I only like it cause I read the LN.
Edit: ZeresAce, your url doesn't work, but yeh those 2 r just 2 cute as mikasa says with a big smile-

OMG. I just noticed that "Eyelashes" in Onepunch-Man literally uses eyelash-curlers as weapons XD
I love OPM.

Finally watched the last episode of Ergo Proxy. Wasn't really my cup of tea tbh, overall it was decent but some of the episodes were really boring. Pino was by far my favorite character in this dark anime. That adorable little autoriev was amazingly well written and had great voice acting as well.

So you just disliked the slow pace then? Nothing against dark stuff?
Also, don't bother with score ratings.

I got nothing against the dark stuff. Yeah it was kinda slow paced in the middle of the anime, the episodes when Vincent struggled with his "inner demon" was boring and just a big mess. I didn't enjoy the way they told it and the ending was kinda meh.
I enjoyed some parts and the anime started off really good, then they went full ham on the psychological stuff and tried to go very deep into his mind but it just got boring instead.
The rating was what I gave it on IMDB.

D-d-d-did you watch Darker than Black? I advertised this so many times I can't remember who to anymore.
Do you mean you would've liked more action(fighting) scenes in the series?

In this case probably but not necessarily. Less personality struggle and more action could have made Ergo Proxy more enjoyable but I don't really like action that much.
I'd personally would have loved some intense dialog or monolog to handle the majority of the split personality stuff instead of the dark trippy dreams he had.
Nope I haven't seen Darker than Black, I will probably watch it some day :P

There's just something I can't explain about this show... dunno.
EDIT: Searz, index aint all that bad. The setting in and off itself is super cool and it somehow feels vastly superior to most other generic shounens... out of all the stuff in this genre I've watched the to Aru series is by far superior. Out of the 3 animated series, railgun S (episodes 1-17, last few sucked :D) is probably the best. If you're into cool ESP **** with some magic mixed in and really catchy op/ed's without much echi **** at all you're in for a ride :P Also, the manga might be worth checking out more since it is a lot more developed. Oh, one more thing - accelerator and last order are the cutest thing ever and you cannot deny >_>
