I found a very large wolf spider (like 1.5-2 inches in diameter) at a friend's house. I asked them to catch it in a jar and now I have a new pet.
time to buy a thing for it and some crickets and stuff. :D
when it's no longer in a jar, I will take some pictures...but as is currently, it's pretty hard to take pictures of it.

Doesn't change the fact that they're disgusting doe. Why would you want to keep a spider as a pet? It's like keeping a rock but a creepy disgusting rock that you have to feed bugs to. And you can't even hold it or pet it or nothin'. Useless pets, and this coming from someone who used to keep snails as pets when they were a little kid.

I've named it Neith, given that it's pretty likely it's female. Wolf Spiders are sexually dimorphic and the females are much bigger and longer lived than the males.
I was seriously considering getting a tarantula anyways, tbh.
