Congratulations! You have been selected to participate in the exclusive The Realm of the Titans Alpha test. Please review this email for important information regarding your Alpha-only account, how to download the Alpha client, where to report bugs and provide feedback, and what to expect as an Alpha tester.
What to Expect in the Alpha Test
An Alpha Test is a very early stage of testing an unfinished game with the goal of receiving initial feedback from participants about the game and how it could be improved, as well as reporting any and all bugs. RotT is currently in this unpolished stage, so please bear this in mind during your testing. By participating in the Alpha test, you can help mold the future of RotT's development!
Preparing for the Alpha Test
Above is a link to download the Realm of the Titans' Alpha client. Download and install the client to ensure it works properly. The Alpha servers will be online at 4 PM PDT on April 7th. Testers will not be able to log into the game until then. Please visit the Alpha test forums to view the full alpha server schedule.
Alpha Test Instructions
Once the Alpha test has begun, please use the following account to log in:
USERNAME:Â Â Â Â Ilikeweiners
PASSWORD:Â Â Â Inmybutt
This account will only work for the Alpha Test client and only during the designated Alpha Test schedule. You will not be able to use this account for any other purpose.
During the Alpha test, please report all bugs you encounter in the RotT Alpha test forum. Near the end of the Alpha test, we will distribute a survey to all testers to collect feedback on your overall Alpha test experience.
DOs and DON'Ts
� DO report bugs you encounter in the Alpha Test form
� DO provide feedback about your experience with RotT in the forums and in the follow-up survey
� DO remember that this is an Alpha-stage product - not a finished, commercial-ready game
� DO be kind to your fellow testers - everyone should have fun while participating in the Alpha test
� DON'T share your account info. All testers were selected for a reason
� DON'T give up. If you encounter a frustrating bug or issue, report it on the forums and check back for a solution. Together, we can ensure that future RotT players do not encounter these tribulations
