I've wanted to buy this for a while now. So I was like, **** it #yolo, and bought it.

HTC One with beats audio. Which is awesome so it makes it easier to destroy my ears but its worth it cause its in such good quality. This phone is sexy as ****.
I need to brace myself for black friday, I don't really do christmas shopping. I just shop for things that I will need. And since my TV broke I'm looking to replace it with a 50" which will go on sale for $288 on black friday. Hopefully I won't get killed or anything waiting in like trying to purchase it.
Someone confiscate my card.

Beats audio in phones/tablets is essentially a mix of good sound hardware (discrete headphone amp, isolated audio components and such) combined with an equalizer setting(AKA Beats Audio Profile).
The hardware part is nothing new, but it isn't very common for tablets and phones to have such dedicated hardware. Having beats does at least guarantee good audio hardware, which is nice.
The "Beats Audio Profile" is almost pointless. It's something that can be changed in a heartbeat in almost any music app you use.
Don't think that I'm harping on it, I just want to clarify what it actually is, to clear the fog from all the marketing mumbo-jumbo.
It's a good phone, with very good audio for a phone.
Sadly HTC, just like Samsung and LG, simply sucks at software design. (I think Sony is best on the software side outside of Nexus devices, but the hardware in Sony phones is kind of uninteresting..)
The Samsung Touchwiz and HTC SenseUI are both incredibly inconsistent and more often than not actually in the way of you using your device.
This could be solved by rooting your phone and flashing an HTC One Google Play Edition ROM(i.e: you're essentially turning your HTC One into an HTC One Google Play Edition phone, google it if you wanna know more). That way you'll get stock Android and will even get to update to Android 4.4, which will be rolling out in a few days or so.
Just a tip from your friendly neighborhood techie :)
"I sexually Identify as an Attack Helicopter. Ever since I was a boy I dreamed of soaring over the oilfields dropping hot sticky loads on disgusting foreigners. People say to me that a person being a helicopter is Impossible and I’m ****ing ******ed but I don’t care, I’m beautiful. I’m having a plastic surgeon install rotary blades, 30 mm cannons and AMG-114 Hellfire missiles on my body. From now on I want you guys to call me “Apache†and respect my right to kill from above and kill needlessly. If you can’t accept me you’re a heliphobe and need to check your vehicle privilege. Thank you for being so understanding." - Guuse
