Ah, I meant rom for the game, I already have an emulator, I've been playing the original Pokemon Blue, but I just got Pokemon Emerald to start this nuzlocke!
The only Gen3 game I haven't actually played properly (My copy was fake and kept getting corrupt)
Edit: Okay, what emulators do you guys use? I can't seem to get my VBA to work with any of the GBA roms I've downloaded, but it works with my pokemon blue just fine :(

^Make sure you have the latest version:

If that's not the problem, you should make sure you unzip the files properly.

Yeah I have that one, and with using 7zip, it still just brings up a blank screen. :(
Do you have a link to the game file you downloaded? It might be the files I downloaded from Coolrom
Edit: Ah! It was the file, I downloaded Fire Red instead of trying Emerald, worked first time :p. Oh well!
Edit number 2: I'm a bad trainer. I ended up with just Charmander (Susan) by the end of Viridian Forest, so I decided to beef her up a bit. She evolved into Charmeleon, so I thought "ok, we should be able to take brock down now"
Got Onix to 1 HP
Onix uses Rock Tomb!
Critical hit! It's super effective!

They're a pain to evolve and I'd rather have gotten a good HM slave like Oddish, BUT ALL IS NOT YET LOST!
