Iunno I mostly hate the new youtube cause I've been on yt since late 2007 and nostalgia which is probably why other people hate it too
Also I'm not fond of google+ at all and I don't see why I should be obligated to connect it to my account

I don't really care. I've never commented on youtube videos (unless some moron linked their channel as advertisement on here). Either or, it'll just wipe off those idiotic top rated comments that flood youtube so often since the morons who make said comments are too scared to make the switch.

Then I looked for myself how these problems can be solved from each complaint:
Fairly easy.
"You want to see a problem with the new comment system?" x50 can be solved by just a bit scrolling and a click.
*****ses -> a click and its gone, or just scroll up to the video again.
"I can't comment anymore on my youtube account cuz I dont use my real name on google+ therefore my account is suspended, which sucks because I cannot comment on my own videos while using my nickname instead of my real name" You just have to give your real name, after you did, you can change back to your nickname and you can comment again, easy as pie.

People are also mad, which is another reason for them to post idiotic ****.
It's funny, because the people complaining about the comment section are likely the ones CAUSING the problems in the first place.

They're consolidating social networks to make things easier for the new users.
Stop looking at the problems only and look at the advantages too.
Also nostalgia is more often than not actually a bad thing.

Yeah, pretty much. But I do think they need to move the "Collapse comment" button to the top of the comment instead of the bottom, because scrolling is a bit of a pain and it's just makes more sense to have it at the top.
But hey, that's a minor problem and one that is very likely to be solved soon. The inter-connectivity of the comment section that was added is kind of a big deal and adds some really nice features to the Youtube comments.
It almost seems like people have forgotten that the most common slogan about the Youtube comments before this change was "DON'T", as in don't comment, because the comment section is ****.

i made a google+ account a while ago because i got annoyed with youtube asking me to all the time, and the thing about it is i only have a google+ account for youtube, which i already had an account on
what i dont get is why we cant just have a youtube account like i know google bought youtube but that doesnt mean they really need to merge it with everything
also the comment section change other than people spamming scream things and *****es all over the place seems fine to me, the few times i do comment i end up taking a bit more than 140 characters (or whatever it was) but i doubt the stupid "le meme XD" spam posts are going to stop any time soon on bigger videos, but at least its better than the top comment just parroting what was already said in the video
