used to play MMO's, until I realized that grinding ****ing sucks monkey **** and I have better things to do.

DCUO is the closest thing to a non grindfest MMO i've seen, so I play it every so often.

Oh @Canoas

Actually from what i've heard SWTOR isn't killing WoW...but A LOT of players are going to it iirc.

Why would WoW die? There are no games in the market half as good as WoW. Every "wow-killer" turned out to be a fcking joke. They steal a small percentage of WoW subscribers for a few months but they all die out soon enough.

I agree, but why bother bringing it up here then if it's not the case? All the OP asked was if anyone played it and/or someone wanted to play with him, but it turned to a bashing topic.

Besides, why doesn't stating facts (sub numbers, store ect.) count as an argument.
Nvm, I'm done with it, I've said what I wanted to say and the things you think/belive is your own concern.

Titan is the only "WoW killer".

WoW will keep going until then.

But there will be other great games that might become bigger than WoW.

sub numbers do count if you state them. if you don't include them then they don't. Also, WoW still has 10 million subscribers. Yes, the number stopped growing and declined a little, but losing 1 million in the last year is not enough to kill WoW. Not to mention MMOs have been in decline except for EVE.
The biggest problem with WoW is that it has pretty much "capped" the playerbase. The vast majority of players who could be interested in playing WoW has already been introduced to the game, there aren't that many people left who haven't heard of it which makes it harder on getting new subscriptions.
The next expansion looks pretty good though, specially with all the new features instead of just more content. It might give WoW a nice boost.

tl;dr: WoW will not die.
