that's not the latin definition.. usually definitions specify where the word originated, but it's completely unrelated to the definition itself..
So you're defining parents as mother and father, but then you define mother and father as something else than the progenitors of that child? So what's the point of defining the meaning of parent in the first place if you're just going to change the subsequent definition to your liking? That makes no sense.
