Why do people keep doing this? I feel my brain cells dying while reading this..
Guinsoo's Rageblade is a terrible item in general, why? Hybrid is dead as a doornail! Building any other pure AD item will up your damage a lot more because you can't put the AP to proper use. Why? Well, you don't have magic penetration or proper scalings.
Tristana has proper scalings but first you'd have to build up the stacks to make full use. Second, trist's scalings are 3.3/AP combined which means that Guinsoo's will up the damage by a maximum of 238 magic damage in total. Buying a BT which grants 100 AD, you'd already be dealing the same damage with 2 mere autoattacks, which takes approx 1.33 seconds.
You're an AD carry, main stats are AS and AD, Guinsoo's grants 30 AD which is way too low and 52% AS but it's not permanent, it takes a long time to stack. 10% life steal is low for an AD carry and the spell vamp is useless.

It's good on hybrid champs that can stack it quickly such as

Even on them it's fairly weak.

I just tried it with
Kog'Maw , building only
Trinity Force and
Guinsoo's Rageblade , and it was pretty awesome.
Since you're an ADC, and you can stack the item on minions, you can consider that it will always be full stacked. And it will be the case. The item will always grant 30 AD, 32% AS and 72 AP. And, in a fight, Guinsoo's passive was awful for the opponent, because for Koggy, Spellvamp is really interesting (since you can spam his ult).
As i said from the beginning, I will never build Guinsoo on every adc. It's only on those who can really benefit from AP, and Spellvamp. Kog'Maw was the first one I was thinking about.
The item, fully stacked, and with passive, has a value cost of 5200g. For an ADC who can benefit from all the stats that Guinsoo grants, the item is just perfect.
Try it on Kog or on Ez, if not done. You could be surprised by how efficient it can be...

Kog'Maw doesnt use the spell vamp. And just because it worked, doesn't mean it trumps the classic build.

I like it, makes people think twice before trying to focus you. Though most of the time I go for other items.
I don't play LoL anymore.

If you would have 200 AD, 30% crit means you will deal an average of 200 * 1,45 = 290 damage per auto attack (when having
30 bonus AD would mean you would deal 230 damage per auto attack. No I am not that amazed.
Also, the attack speed gain from guinsoos is mainly after getting stacks, which means you will even do less damage with auto attacks before you get those stacks. Phantom Dancer is much more reliable.
And considering the lifesteal thing, BotRK should be enough.
