Buckshot is already really strong. I don't think there needs to be any changes to it. Graves is really strong in general early on. I don't really like the idea of Buckshot having most of it's damage in melee range, but if you were to rework the % damage numbers you would also need to rework the flat damage numbers which overall would be more consistent but weaker Buckshots

It's very strong indeed, shifting it more to melee range would be strong but create very tricky gameplay for an ADC. They might need to up the base damage a bit on it though; he's sort of weak if he doesn't get his BF in time.

A majority of Buckshot damage already is melee range. That's what I'm saying. If they are going to increase the range of effectiveness then they're going to have to reduce the numbers a bit

Thats why I dont think Riot has ever really balanced him well. I agree, making his buckshot more loaded into melee range is risky, and thats even what Riot wanted the ability to be like. problem is they also made him an ad carry which are supposed to sit back and avoid being in melee range.

He's a flawed and conflicted character design.

He's probably the tankiest adc around, not to mention a scary burst. I'm not sure what needs to be fixed.

Urgot is by far the tankiest, but he also isn't a real adc at all. Urgot is just weird atm.

Well, my post was supposed to suggest a fix for making his Buckshot more readable and less gimmicky, but now its more or less "Graves should have been a bruiser."

And really, if you think Graves' passive makes him tanky, you're diluting yourself. All it really does is scave off some damage from the harass he will take from nearly every adc for free.

Anyone else remember release Graves? Back when he got like 20 armor and MR from his passive at lvl 1? THAT was tank Graves. Everyone thought he WAS a tank.

well, still is the tankiest adc, unless you'd like to bring up adc Alistar.
Sure, the passive scales and is not as faceroll as it was, but still makes somewhat of an effect.

Regarding Buckshot changes, more realism doesn't seem like a very imposing argument when the basis is a fantasy world, where humans can Riftwalk and there is a lamprey that pukes at others.

It's not just about realism. Thematics and the feeling using the abilities convey also has a factor.
