I think Leona's current passive is pretty great in a big team fight.

She has to use almost all her abilities to pop the passive. Not good.
You know what would fix it? Higher base damage. Having her be able to trigger it, for half or lower damage. Also, giving it a ratio like HP/Armor/AP would give her incentive to build some. Right now, she's straight tank because of how low her sustained damage is. Building AP on her means almost nothing ATM.
EDIT:Missed that allies could still trigger the mark. I still don't like the changes because it feels like you have to blow your rotation on a single champ to get damage output.

I don't believe you have a proper grasp of the game to suggest ways of fixing problems.
That being said, I don't dislike this change. It might be a little strong, but the numbers could easily be tweaked.

It's an overall buff to her damage. I don't see how it would make ANYTHING worse. Only problem I see would be that it might be too strong.

leona's fine, just takes skill to be good with her, ive seen people support a team and intiate like amzing with her.
^ Except for the part where he doesn't. Blitz does not have an AOE stun/slow, he doesn't give his team bonus damage, he doesn't gain 70 armor and MR, and he pulls to him, rather than leona going to them. He's not the same.

I haven't seen many good Leonas. She's just overshadowed by other stronger tanks. Her farm sucks, her damage is fine (for a tank) her ulti is...Meh....Her stun is too short or on too long a CD. As are her other abilities. She's just not as impactful as she is meant to be. Chogath and Singed are EXTREMELY good tanks because THEY HAVE NO ISSUES FARMING. Shen got a HUGE set of buffs that have made him competative once again. Changing Leona's passive wouldn't do anything magical to her. You're better off buffing her other weaknesses....Like an inability to farm well, mana costs still a bit too high, among other things.
