Hey hey hey, Mobafire PEEPZ! I was having a guide reviewed, and the person whom i contacted suggested that I invest points in Improved Recall and Expanded Mind , rather than Good Hands & Summoner's Insight

My question to you guys, is: Does the 1 second improvement from Improved Recall and the extra mana from Expanded Mind work better than Summoner's Insight and Good Hands on an AD carry?

I'd say neither and go 9 points in Defence on AD. :P

Yeah, That's the right way to go 95%, but for this carry, i'd like to try and stay in the utility tree =)

Improved Recall is a maybe. Sometimes that 1 second can save you. The cooldown reduction on Flash is also pretty baller, though, so I'd suggest trying it out and seeing what you like better. Or just say in the guide that taking either is an option, and players should figure out what they like better.

Expanded Mind is pretty useless on most champions. AD carries especially shouldn't need the mana. Good Hands is, hands down, better. Getting up a few seconds earlier after a lost teamfight can swing games. 216 mana isn't likely to (and if it would, it can be itemized for).

Most certainly not, and the reasons are given above ^^

I personally find Improved Recall equally good as Scout and Havoc ; aka utterly useless.

It depends really.

If it's an AD caster-esque champ like Ezreal or Graves, you might want the extra mana.

The improved recall is "meh" as well as good hands.

Good hands wants you to die in order to work, and you don't want to die. Plus, the reduction is eh. Improved recall also doesn't gain you any decent time.

As for utility, not many AD carries worry about it. Maybe Sivir coz her mana costs are huge and her mana regen sucks balls?

Assuming you're getting Swiftness in tier 2 I would get improved flash and good hands. Just because extra base mana without the mana regen won't help much and improved flash is better than improved recall.

Improved flash cuz flash is awesome!
Goodhands cuz first point gives a third more than the rest.
Mana, cuz i play tristana and tristana is mana hungry as ****
Improved recall, so i can go b after i kill them!
