FRAPS is probably the best one, but if your PC is less than average it will have a huge impact on your game. Can record in-game sounds and microphone inputs.

xsplit also works and also is a streaming software as well. It's also a bit easer to configure and is free currently.

Other options are hypercam but that is about 100% harder to configure correctly.

Just note as well that XSplit compresses the file automatically to take up less space on your computer, but also hinders the audio/video quality a bit.

FRAPS will give you the 100% uncompressed footage of whatever you recorded, with the same audio/video quality you had when you recorded. Keep in mind that XSplit can post up about 3hrs of footage for roughly 400-600MB, while one hour of footage on FRAPS will likely be around 25-30GB. Make sure you have the right computer for it or FRAPS will shred it.
