If he wins the match up, he can max tiger to 1v1. If he wants to push, he can max Phoenix to just push the lane forever. If he loses, he can just max Turtle and go super sustain. This basically means that there aren't many champions who flat out "Beat" Udyr top. Olaf is probably the only champion who legitimately beats out an Udyr no matter what he decides to do. In my opinion, he's the hardest counter to Udyr top lane. Cho with AS reds and a bunch of MR does pretty well. An early wit's end with stacks on ulti means you'll have the tankyness and deeps to down most Udyr players early, unless they go balls deep with a Doran's blade stack and tiger stance. Lee Sin is just a generally solid top lane as well. He might be a good pick. Tryndamere isn't bad, although a Tiger stance Udyr with enough Doran's blades becomes something very scary for Tryn. I might just be outplaying other Udyrs with Tryn since he's by far my best champion right now. You might consider a top lane graves as well. Seems like it would work okay to me.[/quote]
