Is the new standard start for ADCs 9 AD marks 2 Lifesteal quints + doran's blade now?

haven't really followed up with the competitive scene

I've been doing this since mid s2.

8 ad marks, 1 crit mark and 3 ls quints + doran's start.

Not sure if it's standard exactly but most AD players seem to have a page with AD marks and Lifesteal quints at the moment and Khazem tells me it's really good. I can imagine it would be strong, especially in non-sustain lanes and you might be able to skip out buying vamp scepter altogether in more situations. Lifesteal also scales better into lategame than any other rune.

Doran's Blade start has been standard for ages.

AD marks if you're doing that. AD = more dmg to minions = more lasthits and sustain.

I know what you're talking about, and the answer is 'kind of.' I have seen a lot of people go 1 LS quint and 19-0-11 for the 3% LS and spell vamp on Caitlyn and ezreal. Look up bobbyhankhill for some interesting builds for adc.

I myself just purchased a LS quint for this very reason.

Ionno I've been watching the Starswar league and everyone seemed to be running lifesteal quints and starting dorans blade so I was curious

For most carries, some benefit more from it than others. Starting Boots + 3 Pots is still viable, so is Doran's Blade (sorta).

I start with 9 AD marks, 3 AD quints, 9 armor and 9 MR

What about att speed marks? ADCs benefit a lot from that. And lifesteal won't help anyway till you got some higher AD...

ADCs dont benefit a lot from as marks only junglers do lol
you miss last hits have a weak push and you wont even be able to use the as marks unless the enemies go all in on you

I go 6 ad marks, 3 apen marks, 3 AD quints, 9 armor and 9 mr. I start with long sword and two pots if my support has a good heal and cc like taric or nami. Otherwise i go boots and 3 pots. Hope it helped you :)
