HOW TO NOT SUCK WITH SINGED

By Jabadhut
Introduction
Hello and thank you for checking out my Singed Guide. My Tag is Jabadhut#NA1 and I peaked Masters in Season 12. I'm not the greatest Singed main ever or even in the top 100. But what I do understand is HOW NOT TO SUCK. Despite what people say this champion is very strong. He has, in my opinion, some of the strongest cc abilities in whole game. His E - Fling and W - Mega Adhesive are SO DAMN STRONG. However he also is the worst TOP LANER in the whole game. Keyword LANER. He is a great Top lane champion, but his laning phase is by far the weakest among all the other top laners. But that is also why he is unique in the way that to bypass the awful laning period, you must proxy (and int, sometimes). SUICIDE SINGED STRATS... GO.
Runepage setup, Champ Select, How to deal with cheese.
So with this guide ill be going over the main steps in the order of the GAME. Whats the first part of a game? The champ select.

I've given a runepage setup guide above but knowing which champs to remove in champ select is important. Me personally, I remove Camille. Now do you have to do the same? No. But what is important is understanding which champions will counter your playstyle the most. Do you only want to proxy? Remove Nasus because Nasus WANTS to be proxied. Do you want to be aggresive in lane and try and snowball early? Remove Darius, Riven, or Qqtrox. The reason I remove Camille is she actively can beat you in lane AND run you down while proxying. But also I just have a personal vendetta against that champ. For the Cheese Champs that I have listed, HERES WHAT TO DO IF YOU PLAY THE GAME AND DON'T DODGE. Start Doran's Shield, Start Fling and hover in bot bush closest to enemy turret WITH YOUR BOT LANE WITH YOU and try and cheese a kill for bot. The reason for this is because those cheese champs I've listed are going to DIRECTLY COUNTER YOU IN LANE. If you try and lane normally you will be poked out and will not be able to play the game. So what do we do? Cheese back. (What follows is a ramble on ranged top lane, not very important to understanding singed). Now for ranged champ matchups heres the reality, It sucks. And I don't mean playing against it (Yeah its not fun) I mean the viability that the RANGED TOP LANER WILL BRING TO THEIR TEAM. Which is slim to fucking non. Ranged top laners are not good. Vayne can only be played top lane cause she sucks bot lane and you are trolling if you un-ironically like playing Vayne bot. Besides that there are some ranged top laners that will give you a rough time IN LANE. No where else though. Once you get passed the lanning phase those cheese champions that I have listed under my DORAN'S SHIELD SETUP and under the CHEESE CHAMPS list become trivialized. The only point of those lanes is too tilt. Now league is a game of variables and LOADS of different situations. If you get a vayne top and your ENTIRE team is point-and-click melee? You should prob dodge. But I have easily over 1000 games on singed and I have never had that happen.
Proxying / Laning Phase
Proxying is a balancing act. You don't wanna proxy all the time, nor do you want to sit in lane all game. Knowing when to proxy is simply understanding ingame power creeping and map awarness. Proxying is a simple way to put yourself in a better position to SECURE GOLD while not GIVING AWAY GOLD. CS is gold. In order win the game you must gain gold. But what is the point of gaining a cannon wave when you int a kill to the enemy top laner or the evelynn with a dark seal? The answer is none. The answer is you losing to the game to said evelynn with a fully stacked darkseal.

BEGINNING GAME FROM BLUESIDE:
Walk into the enemys tribrush. take the top path and hug the wall, making sure not to alert the vision from tier 2 turret. Additionally, you can walk into the brush looking onto tier 1 to see wether or not the enemy top laner is there. Go into the Banana brush behind the red buff and ward red buff. proxy the first wave.

BEGINNING GAME FROM REDSIDE:
Walk into the enemy jungle. Hug the wall and walk into the blue buff brush. Take the narrow path leading to the enemys base. Looking over the wall ward wolves and proxy the first wave.

An important note. If the enemy jungler is absent from their buffs than the enemy jungler has started their botside jungle. MEANING YOU HAVE TWO MINUTES TO CLEAR THE FIRST THREE WAVES AND EXECUTE. You will have to grab the cannon wave in lane which is okay! You will have enough gold to buy an Amplifying Tome . Come back to lane and look to slow shove the cannon wave with the incoming minion wave. Now this is not always an option to slow shove. Some champions will kill you for walking up at all. in this case, let the enemy slow push into you and try and grab the oncoming waves under turret. It'll suck and It'll seem like you are doing something wrong but remember what I said earlier. Singed is the worst LANER in the top lane champion pool. So play for the next couple of waves, get enough gold to buy your Fated Ashes , and come back to lane prefferebly level 6. Now you are a champion and the reason you rush a damage item first is because this champs poison trail damage has been nerfed into the damn ground. You NEED the damage to reliably push a wave and proxy the next without taking too long to where the enemy top laner can clear their wave and run you down. Now you have options - Are you against an easier matchup? Look to get a solo kill. Are grubs up? which they will be. Look to make a play for grubs with your jungler. Are you against a fucking Riven? keep proxying. Once you get to level 11 the mid game begins
Mid Game
By this point you should have Liandry's Torment. Now you are a great teamfighter and this part of the game is very simple. DENY splitpushing and play with the team. You don't want to proxy to deny splitpushing since you are just gonna let the enemy top lane roam around your jungle and thats not good. unless its Yorick, fuck this pig champ. If you are against Yorick then beg your team to kill him. Secure drags and BE THE ANTICARRY. Always focus the adc or mage and do your best to keep threats away. Nasus is hell during the laning phase because you can't stop him from stacking but sucks in teamfights against you. All you have to do is drop your Mega Adhesive and boom, you have succesfully peelled the Nasus. This is also your late game guide since the same things apply for mid game. Deny Splitpushing and play with team. This champ kinda sucks past the 40 min mark since the Adc has naturally gained mr from their levels so thats the only thing that kinda changes. So don't be surprised if you lose these games that go onto the late game.
