Really it all depends.
I think the benchmark on when it takes true skill is after 1.5k (solo queue) or if you trained / practiced with a team.

"Um to be honest there's way too many misconceptions in this guide.
First of all, the OPTIMAL way to build Leona would to be tanky AD. Her W gives SO many resistances so that it allows a Leona to be tanky if farmed. The reason why people CAN'T do that is because she can't get farm in the meta.
