"Need mana? Rush a Catalyst, or use mana regen runes. Nocturne isn't a skill-intensive champ - he doesn't spam them, but uses them in bursts. If you're that mana hungry, grab blue buff. No reason to get a Manamune, which gimps your early game damage and is a generally bad item on most champs."

"Vlad and Karthus are definitely the easiest to play. Nocturne needs runes/masteries to jungle effectively, but is an alright laner. Anivia is hard to play. Like B-Wong said, I would recommend Vlad or Karthus if you're new."
