"You know what would have fixed tanky Ryze?
Lowering the mana ratios, raising the AP ratios. No base damage compensation.
An I'm not talking 1% on just Q or W. I'm talking 2-3% off all the skills.
Ryze is the only mage, other than Galio and Viktor, that gets free damage at the start of the gam"

"These Ryze "nerfs" were more like buffs to his entire game.
More damage early, a smidge less damage later. He doesn't need a perfect runepage to be optimal anymore and you can run a standard caster page on him and still do fine."
