Hey guys and welcome to my corner once again! i am sorry for the long wait i have been slightly busy at work and also have been working on a small project for you guys!

Now then to today's subject Tear of the Goddess. I know recently i talked about the Seraph's Embrace but with the patch i thought it would be good to take another look at it.

Before the patch the Tear would have a +4 to maximum mana on each use of mana/skills per 4 seconds. It was a decent amount and could be charged somewhat fast in the right hands. Now with the nerf this has been brought down to +3 per mana/skill use per 4 seconds. At first look it doesn't seem like much, only 1 mana difference. This is purely from personal experience, i have not made the math; but i find that it makes quite an impact on any character that builds it. I main singed and have always built a tear on him and on the Twisted Treeline before the nerf it would take me about 10-12 minutes to get fully charged. With the new patch it takes me about 15-17 minutes. Now some of you may be thinking... a few minutes difference, what is that gonna do? Well thats an extra few minutes where you don't have your shield to help you in a situation where it would be needed. Thought the advantage to it is that you get the chance to get more gold and then to get more items while the tear charges or if you absolutely want your Seraph's Embrace as soon as possible you could always build straight into an Archangel's Staff to charge it even faster at 8 mana per mana/skill use every 4 seconds.

All in all, i find that this was a rather big nerf on this item and that it could affect quite a few champions that use it has a core build. I hope you guys enjoyed this installement of Nera's Corner and i will be seeing you guys next time!
