"I'd say Abyssal Scepter works too Xenasis. Will of the Ancients can be good if your team could use some sustain in team fights. You have to know which items to get if you're "building AP", not just regular nuker items.
But I do agree that squishy nuke Nunu is just silly."

"Nunu players have to choose between being a slightly squishy damage dealer or a tanky support character. Nunu's Ice blast and Blood Boil make great supportive tools, and he doesn't need much damage to be effective. AP Nunu still works, but tanky support nunu is just as viable in high-level"

"Gragas' ganks aren't that bad. Pre-6 you rely on Body Slam and red buff for CC, post-6 you have your ult, which is pretty effective if used properly. You just have to have Drunken Rage up when you gank. I find his ganks to be better than Warwick pre-6 and a little bit worse post-6.
