You don't want to be up against a champ like Lee as Amumu if you can help it. And Amumu has great CC as well as a lot of base damage on his abilities (Despair scales off"

The only reason you see Alistars in jungle is because he actually has some decent scaling (AD or AP, both are pretty decent) as well as more sustain. "

Posted a Comment: Feb 4th, 2012 "AP is much easier to use (just point and Q), but since her heal nerf everyone pretty much gave up on AP Nid and switched to tanky bruiser AD. AD builds have more sustained and reliable damage output as opposed to the occasional hard-hitting poke. They're also tanky, can be ranged for harass/kiting"
