"I will usually provide a build of 6 items for a support when offering people a build. In most games, you shouldn't get past 4. In long games, you might finish your 5th and end the game soon after. In VERY long games, you have to choose whether you need map control (wards) or trinity force mor"

"You need full runes and masteries. The armor pen and offensive masteries are designed to increase your damage, especially against enemy champions. The items focus more on defense, so they should balance out. The best way to fix your problem would be to get to lvl 30 and get the full runeset.

"^Sounds about right to me. It depends on what rating you're shooting for, but if you want to be above low and low-mid elo, you're going to want 400+ wins usually. I'm nearing 500 and I still don't feel totally ready for ranked.
I'll probably force myself to do it soon though."
