"You need full runes and masteries. The armor pen and offensive masteries are designed to increase your damage, especially against enemy champions. The items focus more on defense, so they should balance out. The best way to fix your problem would be to get to lvl 30 and get the full runeset.

"^Sounds about right to me. It depends on what rating you're shooting for, but if you want to be above low and low-mid elo, you're going to want 400+ wins usually. I'm nearing 500 and I still don't feel totally ready for ranked.
I'll probably force myself to do it soon though."

"Early Sheen is great if you can afford to delay a bit of defense. It doesn't cost too much and it's quite cost-efficient.
Building all of Trinity Force right off the bat is kind of silly. I'd only do it if you're completely stomping or you have a high-defense-no-damage opponent."
