I've been meaning to somehow put together some very short guides on the basics for a few champions in certain roles...seeing as short guides won't ever get any votes/views, I figure...why not make them blog posts instead.

so, without any further ado, here's my mini guide about support Nidalee.

basics:

Nidalee is a harass support, this means playing more aggressive than one would play with a support like Soraka. Her main function is to push the enemies back with Javelin Toss while her carry farms. Since Primal Surge provides attack speed, it can be used both offensively and passively to either help her carry in a fight or to help them with last hitting. Bushwhack has a lot of utility in general. It can replace wards in a pinch, can also be used to slightly damage minions when pushing the lane, and it can be used to deal damage to jungle camps without actually killing them. Don't forget Bushwhack lowers enemy MR and Armor, and can be used to give your carry a one-up in fights if used well. Nidalee is generally very strong against supports who have to use a lot of their resources to undo her damage. Once you hit level 6 you can use Aspect Of The Cougar in trades, but don't try to dive enemies unless you can guarantee a kill.

9-21-0, 1-21-8, 1-8-21, or 9-0-21
depending on personal preference

Clairvoyance

Starting items:

Faerie Charm + Sight WardX3 + Health PotionX2
Faerie Charm + sight ward + Vision Ward + Health Potion
Boots + Sight Ward + Health Potion

General Core Items:

Early game-
Boots + Philosopher's Stone + Heart of Gold/ Kage's Lucky Pick (+ Chalice of Harmony if you find yourself mana hungry)

Mid game-
Mercury's Treads/ Ninja Tabi/ Sorcerer's Shoes + Blasting Wand(or Fiendish Codex if you got a Chalice of Harmony)+ Aegis of the Legion/ Shurelya's Battlesong

Late game-
Aegis of the Legion/ Shurelya's Battlesong + Abyssal Mask(/ Athene's Unholy Grail) + Randuin's Omen + Oracle's Elixir/ Sight Wards/ Vision Wards
