So all of these games were pretty easy, not very hard i just dictated what we should do as a team, and everyone listened so I was happy. Easy carry in all of them, cause our team didnt feed to hard.

As a non current Morde player, I can't say, but I played him a good amount in season 1. Here is the thing about morde that makes him viable and not viable.
Pros
-Can bully almost anyone if played properly -Has little trouble against anyone at low levels from 1-6,7,8 (Depends on champ) -Shield allows for sick clutch plays -Ulti is super good at baiting -Mages if behind, have trouble early-mid, even strong burst like LeBlanc or Ahri.-Melee is TERRIBLE against him in so many ways -Very strong at pub stomp |
Cons
-Not very strong if u go even, he can die very easily to a mage thats even -Ranged that have hard CC or that are AD can shred the poor guy such as, Syndra, Xerath, Zed, Talon, about 8 others.-Has super super bad teamfights if he cant get in the middle of it and just do massive amounts of damage -Ur rly streamlined in build, damage or tank, if u mix damage/health it can be hard to get ur items, if not ahead, because Rylia's and liandry's torment are super important, but cost massive gold. -Can be kited and hard CCed for days -Most people, if the know what they are doing, will take advantage of ur pushing and constant shoving and gank u -At higher elo's such as Gold III+, he becomes harder and harder to play because most will know how to play against him -The reliability of shield can go away really quickly if u cant hit anyone. There are plenty of other reasons for both sides, but imo, he's just not rly great atm, if u want someone who is like morde, i would suggest Azir in the sense that he punishes Mages, and Melees rly well, and his team fight against assassins and tanks, is super solid if played right.

So I won my series, pretty easily, Dc'ed in the corki game for the first 3 minutes, and when i got back in i out played vel and ez, since they were oom, and we got an easy double. From there i continued to stomp them cause I wasn't behind in gold, and got a phage first back so i was pretty much set in not getting out pushed even with level adv on their side. I am trying to get the hang of Azir, But, allow me to respond to a few points you made.
- You don't HAVE to build him either damage or tank. Several off tanks build a damage item, then go for tank. I have found that rushing Hextech Gunblade, then building a couple tank items really works well. I certainly don't expect to carry a game, but I do expect to be enough of a threat that people HAVE to take notice of me.
- The sole reason why I play him top is because of the mages in mid. He simply does not do well against ranged champs (thus, Teemo is a bit of an annoyance, but able to be dealt with). Plus, his E (Siphon of Destruction) is a very reliable source of constant poke, which several top laners are vulnerable to. Yes, this means you'll be pushing the lane ALOT, and make yourself vulnerable to ganks, but his ultimate makes him exceptionally strong in a 2v1 situation, far more so then most champions.
I did make a guide on how to play him in the top lane. I won't post it here in fear of it being viewed as advertisement, but feel free to check it out if you wish to do so.

1. Hextech, is damage sir, my point in saying health/damage is just me saying off tank.
2. U dont punish hard enough early, but yes ranged usually is morde's worst nightmare? But he can destroy burst mages if u punish like a mad man cause of ur shield. Sustain damage like teemo will win tho.

But you stated ur points^ and that is why morde is not played rly at all. Top lane is ok, but not great place for him. He wont get ahead, if the current top champions are played right
So I lost 2 games before this one, but they were due to riot. They were doing something to the servers and messed it up ._. But here is the 1st game i played tonight, won it, we were losing early but made a come back
Lost the 2nd one, I got so many kills from roaming, but straight up... Another terrible vayne and bad mechanics ugh...
Won the 3rd game cause of me just baiting and dying. I dealt tons of damage, and then let my team get the kills. Ik i was going to fall off so no point in me trying to get kills, basically got to around 6, and then once i got enough for key items, i just started handing them off, and we won that way.
