So I didn't really have a lot to pick from - there was [[lulu]], [[cho'gath]], [[shyvana]] and [[malphite]]. Luckily being last pick gave me time to think and gave me a chance to see what the enemy top would pick and he picked [[Jax]]. Joxuu advised me to go with Malphite as he's supposedly good against Jax, and that's what I did. Off the bat I told my team that I don't play top. I said that I'd try my best, but that I really don't expect to do great in lane. I was alone in lane for the first wave because Jax was doing some camp. He TP'd into lane with lvl 2 (I got lvl 2 by then as well though) and caught up to me in CS in no time at all. Shortly after that [[gragas]] ganked me and I had to burn [[flash]], but I was all right to stay in lane some more provided I didn't get another gank. Although Jax was ahead of CS, he wasn't winning any trades. I'm not sure if this is just something Jax can't do vs Malph, or what, but I beat him in every little to not little trade. Eventually once he was half HP or about 60ish% HP anyway, I'd just go on him with Q W E and ignite + ult him, and he'd die. I killed him in that fashion or a fashion similar to that 3 times. Meanwhile my team, bar [[Ahri]], wasn't doing so well. I grew anxious as I knew that even if I continue to do well I would likely not be able to carry this team. [[Thresh]] and [[Jinx]] gave the enemy first blood, and died couple more times after first blood too. We lost a dragon as well. I wanted to help, but I felt like I couldn't leave Jax alone top lest he take the top turret, which was what he'd been trying to do for a while. At one point J4 and Ahri decided to rotate top lane while I had only just arrived. Jax was determined to get the top turret thinking that even if I could stop him, he'd be able to run away with flash. He did get my turret but J4, Ahri and I killed him - I left the kill to Ahri, thinking she'd have an easier time carrying than me. After that I started participating in fights myself. Kudos to [[Thresh]] for hitting a hook on the fed [[kalista]] the first fight I joined, as I was able to ult her immediately and she melted like butter. The rest of her team got pretty destroyed without her. A couple of similar fights (me ulting someone, not Thresh hitting hook sadly) resulted in us getting some dragons, towers and a Baron and we eventually won the game. [size=6][[Janna]] game:[/size] Not quite as great a preformance here as in the [[malphite]] game where I got a triple kill and two doubles but I carried this one as well. [[kog'maw]] wasn't bad but he really liked getting hooked. It didn't hurt him much in lane but as the game progressed getting hit by hooks or Annie's Q/W etc really messed him up. He kept doing stupidly risky things that made me think we'd lose even though he got fed (4-0 in lane). The biggest problems we had were Annie and Shaco getting fed and Nunu being sort of sucky. We lost the first dragon because he had it stolen by [[sivir]]. Not even by her Q over the wall or anything, by her auto-attack. Stolen by her auto. From Nunu. He never really ganked either so he was useless for a long time until he got tanky enough to be a sponge in teamfights. After that first dragon he got every objective so there's that too. [[vladimir]] got somewhat strong and after getting Mikael's and later Solari and Oracle's Lens, it became rather easy to deal with [[annie]] and [[shaco]]. Both Nunu and I had a solari and Vlad had some MR too, it was easy to focus on getting MR with [[sivir]] being so useless, so awesome for that. I did some nice catches with [[monsoon]] that I was really happy with. Overall I lost 1 LP today for now but at least I can play soloQ it seems.[/quote]
