I just don't get the reasoning, she has her passive and the enemy team only had one AP-Based champ (apart from janna but that doesn't matter).

Look, I never said it was bad, I was playing along. I don't think it was an incredible option ("a **** ton of cc" = gnar to be honest, merc's is irrelevant vs knockups and Janna's slow duration is meagre on Irelia) but it wasn't the most terrible thing in the world. And like Fox told me ingame, she maybe she was getting hexdrinker or even Visage, who knows?
