Let Demo guide you through that choice :)

Also gonna post this one, cuz pure comedic genius:
"every now and again you come across a game that has so little emotional connection to who you are that you end up standing there, gazing at the screen and saying "I'm just pressing buttons and my life has no meaning,"" - Colin Campbell

Idd, the only thing that made Ergo Proxy worth watching was Pino.

Has anyone else here seen The Devil is a Part Timer? I found it to be a pretty good comedy.

ahaha i was just about to post on it. it actually is quite amusing. though i hope they don't go full harem and just keep it like it was in the first 7 or so episodes.

interested to see where they go with it, but anyways yeah i agree it is pretty funny.

Thanks to jhoijhoi for my signature!

Hello, long time no see :)

I watched a lot of anime since my last post here, and I am actually reading a manga (Prison school, dont judge me ^^")! I thought I could briefly write here about an anime that I found particularly interesting.

I found Barakamon pretty fun to watch. Art was good, the theme of calligraphy and the comedy were genuine in a way, so it felt as if I'm breathing fresh air while watching the first episodes. Lighthearted and fun with interesting characters, definitely worth a try. 1 2 3

I watched around 80% of 7/10 and higher MAL rated anime by now, including a few 6/10s. I wish I had the luxury (time) to write about all of them :/

And yes, Henneko (Hentai Ouji) was pretty decent, maybe even good at what it was made for!

@Bio, About Noragami, it was so-so. Meh you won't miss much if you decide not to watch it. There was one character there who was pretty fun to watch though. Google gifs of "Ko***u Ebisu", if you like what you see maybe give it a try.

Watching Charlotte atm. It's entertaining to some extent. There are some bad things about it though. The story really has no direction and pretty much lost all indication of a direction after the pilot episode. Plot became episodic at one point, and then tried to string things together again. Characters were okay, some got a bit of personality and there was a slight hint of development but it just seemed to stagnate more and more. Also, author desperately tries to pull your heartstrings. It was compelling for a particular character, but later on it kinda lost it's power over your feelings (at least for me anyways, it felt like the author did what he did in order to change the tone of the series but I can't say I think that was a good idea as of right now).

It's still right up my alley though, and I am thoroughly enjoying it. Yay highschool superpowers!
As for anyone who likes this niche, feel free to check it out, you probably won't be disappointed too badly :3
8 episodes so far.
Thanks to GrandmasterD for the sig!

Well, that IS what Jun Maeda and Key is known for.

I wouldn't say he did it to change the tone of the series, he's doing it because that's what he does. Look at all his other series such as Clannad, Angel Beats and Little Busters. They all follow Charlotte's sort of route with cute slice of life and then arcs for characters that are meant to be really making your heart ache. Well, Angel Beats less so because of it's short episode count, but the new VN for it follows the more well known route that Key Studios takes with specific routes for each character and really touching stories.

Thank you to MissMaw for the signatures!

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo, has any of you watched it? I just watched two episodes because I learned about it from some review from DouchebagChocolat saying it was decent. So far I think it's pretty enjoyable. The comedy is pretty good in my opinion. The serious parts are.. serious? I don't know, sometimes it remains silly even if it seems it's not intended that way. But I read somewhere that the original work (light novel) has some more focus on depressive parts of the story.

Anyway, what do you think of it?

On a side note, why does anime / manga always come in the picture when your schedule gets busier? I've explored some theories regarding triangular dimensions but I'm at a dead end for now.

ep 7 spoilers

EDIT: Friends this is absolutely amazing. The terrible sense of humor from some ****ty ecchi show, but without the ecchi! I thought this was bloody impossible!
