ok a few questions ( dont make fun only played for a day lol) so are there popular champions I should buy that are really good that most people use or is at all preference? Like I unlocked Master Yi I believe. And how should I know what champions take what lane and jungle? and what about items I should buy? Just the reccomended ones?

Don't even think about jungling before level 10. As far as champions go, buying popular ones is usually a bad idea unless you have experience in LoL. I, for instance, always bought champions with easy mechanics to get me going, and after I learned the basics, I started adventuring out of my comfort zone, buying champions like Ziggs or Galio. As far as jungle champions, Nunu is a really good one for beginners with a huge playability throughout all ranks. Just make sure you have Smite or it will be hard for you to clear camps. If you want to know which lanes to play with a certain champion, check out champion guides (like the ones here on MobaFire). Hope I helped.

It's all preference. There are easier champions to start playing each role, or easy champions overall (like Garen), but in the end just play whatever is free and seems to be your thing. Then buy whichever champion you enjoyed the most.

I guess you should stay away from the jungle until you're really familiar with the game (I didn't jungle until level 23 or so), and possibly start with an easy jungler like Nunu & Willump or Warwick. And read some updated guides for every champion you want to try, so you'll at least start to have an idea of how every champion works.

Welcome aboard iLLskiLL! If you're on the North American server, go ahead and add me if you wish: SirWellington. I've played League for years so I know a lot about it and I'm happy to answer any questions.

- The recommended items give you a good starting point if you don't know what to buy, but ultimately you should familiarize yourself with each item and its purpose. For example:

- For finding the right champions to play, I'd suggest thinking about what your playstyle is (Mine is going ham, in-your-face aggressive, for instance), then playing a lot of different champions until you find one that suits your playstyle. Here's a few champions that are easy to pick up for each role:

Each of those champions have different playstyles for their respective roles (Garen is a juggernaut and Teemo is not, Blitzcrank is a tank and Nami is not).

Hope this helps :)

It all comes down to playstyle. You should really just be trying out all the heroes until you figure out an archtype(Carry, Support, Jungle etc) and then do some reading of how to play this role correct. Then jump on the build guides and characters guides relating to the top tier characters that relate to your style of play.
