well there is a reason for it. jarvan is the prince of demacia. therefor its pretty demoralizing to see your prince fall in battle.
its kinda weird these days but to any soldiers its kind of like seeing the general fall. he is one of demacias leaders and even if he is coming back soon in LoL because of the revive it still has an effect on people.

I actually played like 2 games vs a Jarvan but never heard his death sounds or seen his death animation (or payed close attention).
tbh, it just annoys me when any character in any game, doesnt ****ing die, its like, you are missing half of your head and their is a bullet wound the size of ****ing new york in your chest i don't want to hear your ****ty final words just die.

Its just over exaggerated I guess. What bothers me more is that he doesn't have a voice for me when I choose him in champion select, and his first taunt is only playable once, after that it only repeats the second one.
