Duoed with a friend. One of those games were you feel that you got outplayed on a macro and micro level. Our Bot lane got shat on. I helped setup or get a kill in every lane early game, so I feel like I played that part as well as I could despite getting pressured in my jungle by their team in various ways.
Diana’s scoreline looks pretty good, but the problem with it is she was getting those kills while 1v3, 1v4, and 1v5ing their team so she invariably died after and our team was struggling/not keeping lanes pushed out so we never managed to take advantage of those opportunities. I even had four of them chasing me around and my team managed to do nothing with it. I swear Rumble had his Teleport timer hacked to allow him to get to any turret that I was in the process of taking. XD

I feel like this is one of the best
Corki games that I have played. I used trading stance to get Draven low and Leona took advantage of their low health bars to all-in them giving us several early kills. Unfortunately our Azir DCd, so we had no pressure Mid. We kept things fairly even until they tried a hard engage under our Mid base turret and though I went down three of us were left up to take 2 towers and a Dragon, plus our minions took out another turret which was a huge influx of gold and some stats. The wheels feel off after that as we gave up some stupid picks. Rammus got caught going through a choke point on one, and later they caught him in the river. Rammus got out by the skin of his teeth in the later instance, but Leona who went over to help didn’t make it out. They took our Mid inhibitor and rotated Bot lane. We fought them off for a while but they came back in and Ekko was able Flash and Q me taking me out and without Azir we didn’t have the wave clear and zoning potential to push them off the turret. The End.

Finally got to pick
Graves. Support went Soraka which I wasn’t super happy with. Would have rather have had the Blitzcrank they were originally showing, but I guess they switched because of the Morgana pick. Which makes some sense, but Rocket Grab is on a lower cool down than Black Shield. I caught too many Dark Bindings in lane. That is a death sentence when Miss Fortune hits 6th level and not good for your health bar even before that.The story of the lane was that
Morgana was able to exert more zoning potential than Soraka and Soraka had to burn a lot of her health due to one or the other of us getting caught by a binding or getting poked. Then she didn’t have the sense to stay out of poke range while on low health. I had to burn Heal on her to keep her alive. And at some point I had to Flash something, so I was out of mobility options other than Quickdraw which is only available if you have the mana for it. That ended up getting me killed at one point. Also zero ganks despite me pinging our jungler there were free kills Bot lane. To be fair our jungler seemed to be busy elsewhere, dying a lot judging by the announcer.Then our team couldn’t seem to get it through their heads that they couldn’t walk through our own jungle because we had not wards in it.
Soraka got herself killed at least 3 times that way and Hecarim died at least twice that way. I suggested that we needed to ward on the buddy system, but no one listened. So….Was happy to get to play
Graves, but wish it had gone a little better. Now to get back into to promos again. Felt it would be tough to make it in already having two losses and I know I will make it through them sooner or later, so not too put out.

Yeah screw the
Graves + Soraka lane. Gemme a bubble or stun or something to fully lay down my damage. Early game we went even in kills in other lanes. A Poppy gank netted us a double kill, except I was too far back to lay any damage down so now kill or assist for me. Bad on me for lack of map awareness. After that we were able to take their Bot outer and start rotating to help out other lanes. It was pretty much good to go from there. Need to be careful about Qing terrain, including destroyed turret bases.I weep a little when I look at the farm totals in many of the Bronze games.

Oy! My team was showing all AD so I switched from
Graves to Corki, then by the time champ select came around they all switched to AP.I am beginning to hate
Morgana support almost as much as I hate Tahm Kench support. I couldn’t get Nautilus to maintain bush control so we kept getting zoned whenever she got into a bush that wasn’t warded. Surprised my farm was a good as it was. Kassadin who was showing Zed before it got picked from under him couldn’t keep Zed from roaming so there was this annoying assassin running around. Tough call on that as he only has a couple of bad matchup and they aren’t meta picks ATM. Would have loved to see a Kayle against him since she can out push him and stymie his ult. Ah well, I wasn’t playing Mid.Our
Poppy got shreked and so did Ryze and the rest of us weren’t anything to write home about, so it didn’t go well.Only -16 LP for the loss so there must have some peeps with high MMRs on the other team.

Like the feel of
Graves a little better with Arm Pen Reds, and AD Quints. Attack speed doesn’t matter that much on him. Last hitting is definitely a little tricky as some low ones can be at angles you really can’t get to without taking too much damage from the enemy laners. Udyr kept 3-4 of them busy Top lane making it pretty easy for us to secure the rest of the map. We sort of ended up doing 1-3-1 split push with me Bot lane and Udyr Top lane so I didn’t contribute a huge amount to champion damage. Was kind of hard to get close to them because of Event Horizon so perhaps best that were weren’t trying to hit them head on most of the time. By end of the game I had their Bot jungle lit up like a Xmas tree with wards from my Farsight Alteration as they weren’t able to get in there and clear them safely. Managed my mana better in lane this game. Traded one death for a base tower at one point. I kept pointing out the exposed inhibitor to Udyr and the rest of the team, but I couldn’t get anyone interested in it, so we got into the base another way. Bronze life XD

Malphite got crushed by Xin Zhao. Yasuo cried like a little baby the entire time. And insulted me when I complemented him on a good play. Yes, the jungler is focusing you, that is what these things called wards are for. Also Yas is easy to gank because he tends to play aggressively and if you aren’t really good with him you won't be able to maneuver well enough to escape from ganks. So sad. You picked him. Bot lane wasn’t doing well either. So it was kinda tits up especially with ***hat constantly pinging and whining in chat. How about you get your laner low while you have some health and then call me over for a gank. Udyr isn’t played because he can 100 to 0 a target which is basically what Yas apparently wanted. But god for forbid if you do help him out and take the kill. Oh noze!!!!!! Just STFU and play. You may lose, but griefing in chat is not going to help anyone.Time for normal to get that taste out of my mouth. Jeebus.

The struggle to get out of Bronze continues.
Zed got ahead and we didn’t have an answer for him. I am not sold on Jhin ADC. Really immobile from what I’ve seen and I doubt people have enough games on him to be taking him into ranked. Vladimir was the only bright spot, except I went up to gank for him a second time (I had killed Illaoi once already) and Nidalee showed up for a counter gank. Instead of backing off Vladimir pools and chases Illaoi under her turret. No minion wave that I can recall and I was like WTF and he just ends up dying to them. I repeat WTF.

This one was kind of hard. They were kicking our tails early game starting with waltzing in and stealing my Red buff. I had it warded so we weren’t surprised, but we didn’t have the forces there to contest it.
So with that being said, I just tried to farm up as much as I could and hoped we could take them late game. On a good push Top lane to take all the turrets in the lane
Teammates were starting to get a little cranky with themselves and each other. I suggested everyone relax and just play in chat. That stymied most of the carping so I am glad I said something. There was one more comment about us getting unlucky and I said, maybe but the game wasn’t over yet. Again the carping ceased and we just played and we won. :)
